《Morden Pathology》

In this study, two senior pathologists independently reviewed 32000 cervical thin-layer liquid based cytology slides, with a focus on analyzing:

1. Comparison of TBS reporting rates;

2. The correlation between cytological results and histological follow-up results;

3. Independent evaluation of AICyte@ screening efficacy.

This study indicates that:

The overall average reading time of pathologists using AICyte@ auxiliary system is 22.23 seconds per slide, and the average reading speed can reach 12.90 seconds per slide when the last 6000 slides are taken (traditional manual reading takes about 180 seconds per slide). As familiarity with the system increases, the reading speed will gradually improve, greatly saving reading time compared to traditional microscope reading.




2. Compared with the original diagnosis, the diagnostic results of pathologists using AICyte@ auxiliary system showed the same sensitivity (97.89% vs 97.89%) in detecting CIN2+lesions, and the specificity was significantly improved (16.19% vs 6.77%)




《Cancer Cytopathology》

This study conducted a meta-analysis of 160000 sample data from four tertiary hospitals in China (67472 from Zhengzhou University Third Affiliated Hospital, 46060 from Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, 25667 from Shijiazhuang Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and 24649 from Jinan Maternal and Child Health Hospital) to investigate the competence of AICyte@ in independently conducting cervical cancer screening with a 50% negative rejection rate.

This study indicates that:

1. The figure shows the ROC curve: for a 50% rejection rate, i.e. at a false positive rate (FPR) of 0.50, draw a vertical line intersecting each ROC curve, and the y value at the intersection point corresponds to the corresponding sensitivity or specificity.

The results of a large-scale clinical study showed that the sensitivity of HSIL, LSIL, ASC-H, AGC, and ASC-US slides were 100%, 99.69%, 98.52%, 92.93%, and 85.39%, respectively.



In a sample study with a total of 160000 cases in four hospitals, when AICyte@ was set to a negative rejection rate of 50%, there were no missed diagnoses of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL).

By comparing and analyzing with historical diagnostic results, i.e. standard TBS report content, the negative conformity rate of AICyte@ interpretation results alone was 98.8%.




According to the "Cervical Cell Inspection Workflow" recommended in the study, when setting the AICyte@ negative rate to 50%, slides judged as negative by the system algorithm will no longer require manual review, greatly reducing the workload of pathologists.




These data fully demonstrate the strong strength of AICyte@ in improving diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, and have become an important basis for Changdu Maternal and Child Health Hospital to choose Ruihao products.
